NewsThe International Institute of Air and Space Law (IIASL), Leiden University is happy to host an alumni meeting in September 2010. It is indeed a special occasion as it marks the 25th birth anniversary of IIASL and 10th anniversary of its successful LL.M degree programme in Air and Space Law.
VENUE: De Oranjerie, Hortus Botanicus, Rapenburg 73, Leiden The symposium is organised with the generous support of HE Space Operations, TNO Space, Ministry of Economic Affairs and Dutch Space. The symposium will focus on the legal issues arising from this new era of human spaceflight by analyzing the perspectives of various stakeholders, and will attempt to formulate some recommendations for its efficient and adequate regulation.
On 18 June 2010, Tanja Masson-Zwaan gave an introductory lecture about space law to the approximately sixty judges of the Court of Appeal in Den Bosch, on the occasion of their annual meeting ('Hofvergadering').
