Het Institute of Anglo-American Law in Leiden en IIEF organiseren een symposium dat beoogt een platform te bieden waar diverse stakeholders en internationale experts van gedachten kunnen wisselen over de Nederlandse regeling binnen Europa, de wensen van de praktijk en hun ervaringen met grensoverschrijdende groepsacties.
The Institute of Anglo-American Law was established by Professor Basil Markesinis, and opened by His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales in 1988.
The Institute is responsible for a chair of Anglo-American law. Prof. John Cartwright holds the chair.
The Institute is also responsible for a second chair. Prof. Olav Haazen holds the chair of Comparative and Transnational Law of Civil Procedure.
The Leiden Institute of Anglo-American Law organised a special two-day event on Anglo-American Law.
The Institute supports staff exchanges of Dutch and Anglo-American law faculties.
The Institute also promotes and financially supports studies of Dutch students at Anglo-American universities, including Oxford with its excellent Magister Juris Programme.
