The Meijers Research Institute and Graduate School is the research institute of Leiden Law School.
The Meijers Research Institute and Graduate School can be termed the home of the up- and-coming talent of Leiden Law School. This Institute and Graduate School is responsible for both the Talent Programme and the PhD Programmes. The in-depth, theoretical research courses are followed jointly by both groups, to enable students to experience the intellectual stimulus of interaction with the PhD candidates.
The best researchers of this Institute and Graduate School – the Fellows – are involved in the training and the intensive, personal supervision of the students and the PhD candidates. This policy combines teaching and research in an environment which is stimulating both for experienced researchers and for PhD candidates and students of the Talent Programme.
