2nd - 7th September | Europaeum Summer School in Oxford
The annual Europaeum Summer School brings together graduates and academics from Europaeum universities with high-level policy-makers, professionals and experts, to explore current issues linked to Europe.
This Summer School will reflect on the complexities of European and global governance with particular reference to conflict resolution within Europe over recent decades. It will aim to bring together academic experts, practicioners from the field, policy-makers and journalists, to provide a variety of perspectives on such conflict scenarios as Northern Ireland, the Basque region, the Balkans, Cyprus, Montenegro, and the Caucuses.
Speakers include Professor Richard Caplan (Oxford), Professor Guy Goodwin-Gill (Oxford), Mr Alain Servantie (EC), Sir David Madden (former UN Ambassador to Cyprus), and many others from the Changing Character of War Programme, OxPeace, the Refugee Studies Centre, Conciliation Resources, Complutense University, NATO, etc.
