American Bar Association visited Leiden Law School
Leiden Law School recently welcomed Dr Anthony Caprio (ABA representative and President of Western New England University) who visited us on behalf of the American Bar Association, for the accreditiation of our Leiden Law Courses. Meri Maffet, Director International and Graduate Programs of the University of California Hastings (College of Law), one of Leiden Law School's ABA accredited partner universities, accompanied him.
During their visit the delegation met with Dean Rick Lawson, American exchange students currently studying in Leiden, lecturers and staff from the Office for International Education. They also attended some Leiden Law Courses and were then taken on a tour of the Kamerlingh Onnes Building, the Sterrewacht and the Grotius Centre in The Hague (all three being Leiden Law School locations). Our students also showed them around some Leiden student housing.
As well as with the University of California Hastings (College of Law), Leiden Law School also has cooperation agreements with The University of Texas at Austin, University of Connecticut, Hartford, University of Florida, Gainesville en Boston University Law School, Massachusetts (main activity: student exchange).
