Application of State Aid Law in National Courts

On July 4th, LEGSA held a international conference on the application of State aid law in national courts. The conference has addressed the specific role played bij national judges in the implementation of State aid law, as well as the possible legal problems that may arise in national legal proceedings.


27 September | Experts held State aid courses for Latvian judges

This course forms part of the project Application of State aid law in national courts , which is subsidized by the European Commission and is carried out in several countries  by the Leiden Expert Group on State Aid (LEGSA) in cooperation with the Riga Graduate School of Law and the University of Salzburg.


Autumn Conference on European State Aid Law 2011

The Autumn Conference on European State Aid Law 2011 took place at Leiden University. The two-day event on 1 and 2 December, organised by EStALI and LEGSA, has been dedicated to the latest developments in European State aid law.


EU Grant for LEGSA project obtained by Adriaanse and Den Ouden

Paul Adriaanse and Willemien den Ouden have obtained an EU Grant for the project Application of State aid law in national courts . This large project will be carried out by the Leiden Expert Group on State Aid (LEGSA), in cooperation with the University of Salzburg and Riga Graduate School of Law.


First LEGSA symposium

The Leiden Expert Group on State Aid (LEGSA) has organised a symposium on the usefulness and necessity of the bill on recovery of state aid. This sympoisum took place at the Faculty room of the Academy building on Wednesday January 19, 2011.
